• Usage data — alerts you create, watchlist items, screener queries, and portfolio holdings you enter
• Session data — device identifiers and login timestamps for security purposes
• Telegram ID — if you choose to link your Telegram account for notifications
• Payment data — subscription status only; we do not store payment card details

We do not collect your PAN, Aadhaar, bank account details, or brokerage account information.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and operate the Abhiroopam platform
• To send price alerts and subscription notifications you have opted into
• To verify your email address and secure your account
• To detect and prevent fraudulent or abusive activity
• To send service-related emails such as subscription expiry reminders

We do not use your data to make buy or sell recommendations, profile your financial behaviour for third parties, or sell your data to advertisers.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share data only with:

• Email service provider (Brevo / Listmonk) — to send transactional emails. Your email address and name are shared for this purpose only.
• Telegram — if you link your account, your Telegram chat ID is used to deliver notifications you have requested.
• Infrastructure providers — hosting and database services under confidentiality obligations.

All third-party providers are bound by data processing agreements and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

4. Data Retention

• Account data is retained while your account is active
• Unverified accounts that are never activated are deactivated after 7 days and deleted after 30 days
• If you delete your account, your personal data is removed within 30 days
• Login attempt logs are retained for 90 days for security purposes
• Session tokens are invalidated on logout and cleaned up within 30 days

5. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), httpOnly secure cookies, hashed password storage, and session management controls. However, no system is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential. Contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

6. Cookies and Local Storage

Abhiroopam uses httpOnly cookies strictly for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or any similar tracking service.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data via your profile settings
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent for email communications by contacting us

To exercise any of these rights, contact us via Telegram support. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Children

Abhiroopam is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has registered, contact us and we will delete the account.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the platform after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
